♥️💫 YOUR WORDS ALWAYS HIT ME. I'VE BEEN ON SIMILAR JOURNEY FOR A COUPLE DECADES NOW & AT 54 I CAN SAY. THE INEVITABLE, WHICH IS 'LOSS' ... FROM A LUVED 1 TO A THING, SOMETIMES MY OWN MIND a little 🤦🏽‍♂️ ALWAYS ATTEMPTS TO SHOW ME WHAT TRULY MATTERS. I SAY ATTEMPT BECAUSE I DONT ALWAYS LISTEN. THE JOURNEY CONTINUES WITH JUST TRYING TO CREATE THE AUTHENTIC LIFE I WANT. GRATITUDE YRSA🙏🏽

I love this consideration about what really matters to us...it seems timely collectively to consider what ideas of "importance" have been imposed upon us and what we either have yet to discover as important or importance lurking beneath the surface of things we call drudgery. Thank you for your ideas about the predominance of work at a time in human history where we have so much convenience and yet less time and permission (maybe from ourselves) to luxuriate in it..

Everything about this resonates. The Caribbean upbringing, the working hard (ah tyad!). I moved back to the Caribbean to slow down and experience my life more, to actually remember the names of trees - yet here I am, falling.

Thank you for sharing your falling with us.

Thank you for this reminder x
