If you are not careful,

if I am not deliberate,

there are days we forget what the point is. The lists. The loops. The need and the noise. But then I see something made with devotion; a piece of art, a gesture, a friendship held softly over time. Ah, I'll never have the answer, only small, shimmering clues. Signals that remind me where to look next.

HAPPY PUB DAY to Necessary Fiction!!!! by the luminous

Osunde! This intimate, utterly alive novel is timeless and magical — a tapestry of friendship, love, and chosen family. Across a vibrant cityscape, a kaleidoscope of voices: artists, dreamers, survive and self-define.

Since we know what we don’t want
since we already know what drains us,
what flattens us,
what we’re tired of pretending to enjoy,
since we already know what no longer fits,
what no longer sings,
what we’re too wise/too weary
to keep making room for,
...let’s lean the other way.
