I tried to say I didn't understand; that the activists had language I knew not, the organisers used facilities that I had not, the campaigners had intel, and I did not. Friend, I almost believed myself! We claimed we didn't know enough history to do the right thing. I ignored my intuition. I tried to talk 'fair'. I turned off my heart. It was a massacre. We met up for lunch and didn't talk about it. We tuned out the breaking truths of the day. Families were gone. Blood. Blood. They fed us some lies. We ate. Ate.

thank you, for writing, for sharing about this <3 for putting a feeling on paper that brings feeling to our humanness and our interconnectedness in allowing this massacre to continue- if even out of ignorance. I really appreciate you and your writings, with love
the seeing, the bravery, the fortitude , the heart.
